Running a group of professionals Sera

Preparation is the key to running a successful evening group information. We want to ensure that your business presents itself as a professional "way" and progressive organization that cares for the team. Want to existing team members to sing your praises about what it means to work with your company.

The ideal information evening group is divided into two parts. The first part of the evening is an opportunity to present details about the company andfunction and characteristics required for the position you are recruiting. The second part deals with the applicant. This is their opportunity to write their application form (using a standard model) and complete all psychometric tests, if necessary.

SET UP before the event
Place
The room right set-up is extremely important to ensure a positive outcome. You want to be able to ensure that each candidate is given the same opportunity to shine. Therefore, the meetings are necessary. Make sure the room is located on a U-shaped or shaped meeting table so that you can see every candidate and every person to easily see you and your presentation.

Ideally, this presentation is best kept in your home. However, if you're not a big enough space, hiring of an external device such as a hotel or in a central location. You do not need the world to spend a good feature to have - but I remember thatyou want the site to reflect their values. This is not the time to go cheap, cheap!

PC Projector & Screen
Make sure you have a PC projector and screen for PowerPoint presentation can be seen. Depending on the configuration of the room, you can a small table on your PC, laptop and a projector in place.

Signs
Ask your place to set up appropriate signs, so candidates will be able to easily access the room.

Assign roles for the teamMembers
There are many things to do for a simple event. Ask each team to help them advance in a role, including:
- Out of the folders in advance
- Camera Control Set
- Playing host - the candidates greeting upon arrival with a friendly smile and welcoming. Tags on arrival and handing them to their seats.
- Ensure that the restaurant is at the right time
- Placing of psychometric testing and applicationforms on the table during the networking break.

PART I: YOUR PRESENTATION
The first part of the evening was the presentation by the company and the position you are recruiting.

Make sure you have the time to prepare a professional presentation of PowerPoint that illustrates your activities, and recruiting for the position you took. Ensure that any professional presentation which is also an agenda and timetable of the evening - asand explain when you can leave if they feel that it was not for them.

My typical presentation format is a short welcoming speech, then a formal review of Innova Business, our background, our vision and mission, our core values and how we work ... that is our culture. I go to the role we are looking for, including filling the role of the critical success factors will be given. I suggest a similar size, if you do not overdo it with the information ... you just want to give them asnapshot of what it means to work with your company.

Networking Break

After the presentation about the company and the position you are recruiting, provide a 20 minute break in the network. This is an opportunity for people to network and talk to your mates about the company and the same role.

It will also be very understanding of who each candidate. It 'very interesting to see how each person reacts during the breakand if they are to speak with you or other members of the team.

One of the most fascinating experiences I had was recruiting for a seller. I have an evening group for information, as I was about 40 good applications for the position. During the break, not one of them is talking to me. I am the decision maker for their future and can not talk to me. What they are going to be like selling my services to potential customers! Finally, I removed and put all the candidatesback on the market.

During the break drinks online, ensuring that the team member assigned to break divides the application form and psychometric tests on the table ready for when they return from the applicants.

PART II - it's all about the applicant!
If everyone comes back from the networks to break, this is where people are encouraged to apply - whether they are interested.

For those interested in applying for the job, ask them tocompleting an application form and leave a copy of your curriculum vitae with you. You should also have a psychometric test at this stage to be completed. After training the Enneagram for over 12 years, I use this as a powerful method to get a "sneak peak" on the personality of the person. You can also schedule psychometric tests as part of the process of one-on-one interview.

The best success I've had is a continuation of the theme Attitude "in aptitude. MyApplication forms are all about them as individuals and ask that the depth of their character. For example, one of the best questions that I used is: "an obstacle, that obstacle is not impossible that he had to overcome in your life that made you believe you are a''...?" Stayer are

I would say that of all the group information sessions night that I did, an ingredient widely used is that of asylum seekers who are enthusiastic and passionate about business and attractposition. They are desperate for work because they are so different as a company and who can think that would be a good place to work! This is what you want - a team member thrilled!

Once applicants have their application (and psychometric tests if you have them), they can then leave. If people tend to end up at different times, may afford the opportunity to chat with them. Ask them how they enjoyed the evening and if they could be seenwork for the company.

When all have left, sit with your team and talk in the evening. Ask them how they felt it went and what their comments were. Come up with a shortlist of those who want to interview you and your team.
