I am using MS Project 2007 Professional since its introduction (in fact I started the pre-release product).
From my point of view there are some good things, adding a few things that everyone should take, such as multiple undo (now this is good, but because it has taken Microsoft so long). And they removed a feature that I like MS Project 2003 (time-phased data analysis in Excel) and replaced with a number of other functions in Visual reportssection, but I miss the simplicity of the features removed.
Oh, and if you are considering the move to Project 2007 and wondering which version to buy - Project Professional or Standard, they are both the same thing, unless you also install Microsoft Project Server 2007 (Enterprise Project Management ), so if you use as a stand-alone you might as well save money and get the standard version.
